PSU signs academic collaboration MoU with CTUMP, Vietnam
On 25 June 2024, PSU President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub and the executive team welcomed a delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), Vietnam, led by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Tan, Vice Rector. The auspicious visit started with an MoU signing ceremony, followed by discussions regarding further academic collaborations, including student exchange and staff development programs.
The distinguished CTUMP delegates also visited the PSU Faculty of Dentistry and its state-of-the-art specialized laboratory. After the faculty presented its academic programs, discussions started about the direction of the ongoing collaboration, exploring possible areas for further development.
The two universities have been collaborating at the faculty level, with PSU's Faculty of Dentistry signing an MoU with CTUMP's Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology in May 2023. The current visit aimed not only to expand joint academic activities with the Faculty of Dentistry, but also to propose new venues of collaboration with the faculties of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, alongside exploring other mutual interests in Health Sciences.
